Frequently Asked Questions

What is Athletic Performance Recovery (APR)?
APR is a recovery-focused service designed to help athletes and active individuals reduce muscle soreness, improve mobility, prevent injury, and optimize physical performance through targeted recovery techniques like assisted stretching, soft tissue work, compression, and recovery modalities.

Who is APR for? Do I have to be a professional athlete?
Not at all. APR is for anyone who trains, competes, or lives an active lifestyle, including student athletes, weekend warriors, fitness enthusiasts, and people recovering from physical strain or overuse. Whether you are elite or just getting started, recovery matters.

What services does APR offer?
APR offers customized recovery sessions that may include assisted stretching, muscle recovery therapy, mobility work, percussive therapy, compression, and other evidence based recovery tools, all tailored to your sport, training load, and physical needs.

How often should I come in for recovery?
That depends on your training volume, intensity, and goals. Many clients come 1–2 times per week during heavy training periods and once every 1–2 weeks during maintenance or off-season. We’ll help you build a recovery plan that fits your schedule and performance goals.

Is APR medical treatment or physical therapy?
No. APR provides performance recovery services, not medical diagnosis or physical therapy. We focus on recovery, mobility, and performance support and we are happy to work alongside your medical or rehab providers if you are currently in treatment.
